I am literally cringing as I look at this picture. But then again, it’s a stark reminder that God gives us only what we can take. Annika’s Mom proved to be a trooper when it came time to make her Annika. I, on the other hand, managed to faint three times in a row, go into two separate hyperventilation panic attacks and take up the clinic’s entire staff to make sure I didn’t knock myself out - all over … ready for it … a freakin’ blood test. In fact, most of the nurses are not even sure I am going to make it through the delivery. I guess it’s confirmed - I am officially a wimp but I guess God already knew that.
